Called and hung up as soon as I spoke. Suspect scam. Had another call straight after which I did not pick up.
SCAM / SPAM 01733889904 Rang saying they received my number from the government saying I am in debt, when I said that information like that wouldn't be provided by the government and would be in breach of GDPR they got defensive. Then informed them that my number is on telephone preference service and to remove my number from their computer system. Will wait to see if I get any more calls.

Fraud. The lady claimed to be calling from Amazon. However, Amazon never make calls in this way.
Call alleging to be from Amazon querying £799 charge to my account which was probably fictitious- request to press 1 - did not do so and rang off. Probably a scam.

Tried to help with outstanding debts, mortgage, CCs etc etc. Said I had opted for it online... which is a lie as I never did nor never will.

I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. Phoned telling me they had a cheque to send for refund of bank charges. Had my name and address, wanted my date of birth. When asked which bank were refunding charges just repeated UK Financial Services. Told me they would cancel cheque if I didn t give date of birth. I said that would be fine and hung up. Its time uk phone numbers were stopped from being given to overseas callers.

Calling trying to sell telecommunications and very rude! Answered back when I told him to remove my company from his list and stop calling he hung up, And when I called him back clogging up his line I explained that hanging up on me was certainly not going to get my business he was even more rude.
