It's a PPI number from someone abroad. When i asked them to delete my number they hung up on me.. Very annoyed.

Indian sounding male with very broken English. After the fourth time of asking I finally managed to decipher that he said he was calling from BT Openreach. When I said 'OK I understand now' there was a long pause as if he didn't know what to say next. I could hear someone in the background also saying 'This is BT Openreach'. When I asked him what he was calling about he just kept repeating 'This is BT Openreach'. I asked him if he had lost his script......and he rang off.

Then told me he needed money and I should give him some as people like me are rich because the government gives me money. Got even more aggressive when I said no . I was called today by this company and found out who they were (on here). I promptly phoned their 0845 number and requested that they remove me from their database. I explained that I had caller preference and threatened to report them to Ofcom. The interesting thing is that they asked me if I knew a certain person (who they mentioned by name). This person was clearly the person they were chasing for the debt but I had never heard of her. They state on their website that they are they work ethically, honest

+44 161 082 4479 just had a call from this number. It’s an automated message saying I’m involved in tax fraud and I must press 1 on my keypad NOW. At that point I just hung up so don’t know what else was said but I’m sure if I was involved in tax fraud the last thing I would get is an automated message. Please be careful and just hang up and report it on here or anywhere so others can know about it. This is a dangerous call.
