Unknown number. Came up with warning from my antivirus protection that this was already reported as fraud. Didn't answer. Reporting it here and via my phone. Blocked now, for what that's worth ... they just roll over to a new number

Man with strong Indian accent calling himself "Daniel", claiming to be calling from "Microsoft Encarta" and saying that hackers had infected my PC, so he'd need access to it. A complete criminal scam. I told him I needed to go and get my computer, then left him waiting for ages until he eventually hung up. Number now blocked & reported to ICO.

this number called my phone an english speaking man told me he was from yell ? so i think it needs to be checked as a possible scam seen as the area is russia

If this number contacts you about a "recruitment", it's a scam. Do not engage. And certainly don't deposit any money into their service, you're not getting it back.

Said they were bank security,,visa debit. Telling me two amounts of money were going to be taken. One from Amazon..who I never use and one other. Obvious scam. Same voice as previously but on a different no.

Automated voice says this is a bank alert, there have been two charges on your card , it then gives the details of the ‘transactions’ one supposedly for £200+ on Amazon, the other a bank transfer for over £1000. Then asked to press one or two depending on whether you have made these payments or not.

Supposedly VISA advising me that debits have been made on my card. This is a scam! It is a recorded message expecting a response. The next step is that they want to verify the card number etc and hey ho! you've lost your money.

SCAM - Repeated many calls from 01733 806--- numbers, block each time, they just change the last three numbers and try again. getting very many calls daily from Peterborough, I am sure if it was THAT urgent they would leave a message. Phone No. 01329239173 phoned today and claimed to be my bank security, without stating who I bank with, they said that I'd authorised Payments of £300 to Amazon and £1200 from a site I don't normally use. This was obviously a scam to get my Bank Details, I've checked with my bank and no such payments have been authorised, ,thank god. This comes after I've been hit on one of my cards for a payment I hadn't authorised with Fancy2go.com, another con artist.

This is linked to a scam where a company is contacting O2 customers offeri g a 40 percent discount on your tarriff. Do not answer, do not give your details under any circumstances.

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFOMATION THIS IS A KNOWN SCAM! This is a scam, I had them call me on different numbers 5 times in the last 2 days claiming there from several different companies. There trying to scam you out of money and DO NOT belong to any of these companies there claim to be. There try and get you to give them your bank details, once you do there will steal money from your account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFOMATION!

01614646608 Thickly-accented, hardly intelligible Asian person, claiming to be EE; and offering 40% discount on new phone or contract. Strongly suspect this is a scammer phone because (a) we don't believe EE employs phone sales people who cannot speak clearly in English, and (b) it's a new unsearched, unreported number, so unlikely to be EE.
