Just been rung on 01273 655031 about my washing machine and fridge freezer insurance taken out last May for £154 in my sons name at our address. He has not lived here for over 10 years. Knew it was a scam so said i would renew but just needed to get my card. Kept him waiting 5 minutes then read out totally made up card. He said there must be some digits wrong. Unrecognised number which I never waste my time answering. Straight on block. If it was anything of importance, they would follow up with a text message. My advice to anyone would be, never answer to an unknown number unless it s followed by a text message. Even then you should only respond to a text if the message interests you.
