Just received a call from this number on my mobile. I answered and said "Hello?" whereupon the call was immediately disconnected. I don't recognise the number, but suspect some sort of scam or nefarious activity. Although the criminals mainly target my landline, some of them seem to have my mobile number.

Cuando le digo que no me llamen más o pondré una queja por violación de RGPD, me dice chillando y con palabras maleducadas que es la primera vez que me llama, que si yo solicito información (que es mentira) el RGPD no es válido, y me cuelga dejándome con la palabra en la boca. Que mejor así, a ver si no vuelven a llamar.

Claiming to be from Amazon, suspicious activity on my account, and Amazon had sent me an email alerting me to this problem, which I hadn't got, he wanted access to my computer, he couldn't make up his mind if it was a Smart Phone that was trying to be ordered, or general household goods. From looking the number up and finding all these comments saying Vanquis - i called Vanquis up asking why a debt collecting agency is harrassing me when I paid off any money oweing last year and wrote a letter of cancellation LAST YEAR! I dont even have a valid in date credit card with them - how could I owe money?! They obviously havent closed my account! Because I cant remember an email address of password from 4 Years ago they will not talk to me about the account! Vultures!! They should be closed down.
