strange unsolicited call from number belonging to: 'W A Read & Sons Ltd' Upon answer there was no reply and the phone put down. I called them several times over and got redirected to voicemail until they eventually gave up and answered. Lady picked up and I asked "What do you want"? No response and phone was put down. This happened two more times. They then disconnected the phone it seems.
I would prefer to see at least one comment regarding this number whether its negative, positive or neutral would help.

Text Message SCAM Banking I received a message claiming to be from santander and asking to authorise a payment and to reply with Y or N.
SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. Automated voice call from this number on Tues 27th June regarding a "transfer from my account in the sum of £1000+ and a transaction to Amazon in the sum of £300+" and I was invited to press button 1 to authorise both transactions which I obviously did not do. There was no description of which "account" involved in either the transfer or the Amazon transaction. Checking all accounts confirms NO cash transfer and NO transaction with Amazon.

I came searching for this number because I received email from them impersonating themselves as Credisprings.uk. They said my loan was accepted and I could have it straight away in my bank account. But at the end, they wanted £70 upfront to release the loan. Its definitely a scam because I went to the company official website and they said they never ask for money upfront. Beware!
