Fraud SCAM The caller claimed to be from mobile phone promotion department offering a discount. I established that the caller was a fraud and called them out at which point they stopped being polite and friendly and began to taunt and be abusive. This call has been reported to the UK National Cyber Security Centre.

SPAM I got a call from this number. It rang 3 times and stopped. I missed it so rang back and a recorded voice said "this number is not available" Looks like a scam to me. Beware

Machine called, purporting to be my bank and telling me about two recent transactions in my bank. I was offered to press 2 to speak to an advisor, which I did and a woman answered (Asian accent) " 'allo, 'allo" then "can I help you authorise you bank account?". I declined. My bank knows nothing of this. So - this number is obviously using technology to try and get access to people's bank accounts.

SCAM Unusually, this was actually an English person on the other end of the phone rather than a call centre setting from India etc! The number rang my works mobile at 10:05 09/05/2023. The person on the other end spoke very well and professional, saying that they were calling from HSBC, and were making me aware of activity in my account that looked suspicious, that money was being taken out by an advertising firm. Fraud: Bank scam. Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). They hope you will be daft enough to talk to them so they can obtain your bank details. Why the Police and Telephone companies still allow these fraudsters to operate it beyond me.

Called this morning, did not have my details but claimed to be from Openreach. Wanted to discuss my internet connection - I don't have one with Openreach. Do not give these guys any information, you will probably regret it.

Received text from this number from Santander Online Help saying a new Direct Debit of £893.21 to Suns Motors has been set up. As I don't have a Santander account I assume this is a scam

Asian man claiming to be from sky, saying my broadband router was over heating and I should run a speed test. Refused to do at the present time. Said he would ring back tomorrow. Will ignore the call. Other scams have been reported by Sky.

Claiming to be from EVRI about a delivery fee and failure causes parcel to be returned ...... "Now follow link ..." in aggressive bold print ... I'm not expecting any parcels and certainly not ftom EVRI ... who or whatever they are! Suspect this is a SCAM.

Hid my number and called back. The phone was answered and it was about Sky scanner about booking flights that I did not initiate. SCAM.

Call claimed to be from Vodafone retentions department promising me a 40% discount, asked me a bunch of security questions and then asked me to read him the code from a password reset email that he had triggered on my Vodafone account. This apparently would enable him to send me the priority app so I could access 5G calls and VIP features. Alarm bells at this point. I said I'd call him back then checked with Vodafone. They confirmed that this is not a number they use and not to give out any information. SC

SCAM, it sounds like a rerouted Indian call centre, using a UK number, claiming to be a generic "internet security".

DHL Scam. Don’t give them any information. They’re trying to get payment for unpaid import duty but somehow they’ve got access to DHL’s waybill numbers. But they’re so stupid they can’t even quote the correct amount!

Fraud 07484888053 automated call telling me there had been unusual spending on my card - £300 to Amazon. Cut the call off straight away - this is a scammer - checked my bank but moved money to safe account of my own. Beware.
