Using all sorts of numbers. if you block any they call from, they just come up with a new one. here s how they get your details. they have registered with the whois who directory for web domains and every time someone buys a domain but does not buy privacy from whois who, they capture it and ring you like crazy, as if there is no tomorrow. Be careful don t disclose bank / credit account details. this is how they get your money even if you don t go

Nuisance caller concerning BT account holder

Have called twice, answered the first time but they hung up. Second time I had checked them up and similarly a few more calls reported like this.

Scam number claiming hmrc tax refund and wanting credit card details to put money back on to. When questioned, said I was being difficult and would be removed from refund listing????

Have been called 11 times on my mobile since 24th November by this and very similar numbers. I do not answer unknown numbers.

Computer (sounded very realistic) saying it had heard I was involved in an accident. Hung up when I said I was not.

they call me at least twice a day from all different numbers but as yet I have not answered any of them as they are from a debt that was about ten years ago which is past the statute of limit

asian guy said his name was Michael and from British Telecom_out and out liar. these people must be stopped, they must think we are stupid by using English names.

3 calls yesterday and 2 so far today. Asian men, today he said he was phoning me from Future Trends and would only ask me 2 questions. asked if I was Mr ----- I said yes then asked me if the address he gave was mine, I said yes and he went on to ask me further questions. I told him he had already had his 2 questions and was not amused. I had told them yesterday to remove my number but clearly they have not. I am with TPS but this does no good. Who can we complain to? guy phoned asking me about my washing machine. I said I didn t live at that address and he laughed and hung up. how these people make a living I don t know. noise in the background indicated a call centre

Similar to other comments - caller said he was from Microsoft and said my computer had been sending them warning messages. Wanted me to log on so he could fix it ! He was a bit confused when I said I only had Apple computers and not Microsoft and then hung up when I told him that I would refer this to Action Fraud!

They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined.
