Automated call saying I missed a call from my internet provider. I put phone down. I think it is a scam, as I didn't recognise number.
This is apparently a lottery syndicate. They wanted me to set up a direct debit of £39/month. It started from a "win a free iPhone, guaranteed". They asked for my contact details, and then it became apparent that my details would be given to lots of companies. Then 02036346988 called me. This is apparently a syndicate of 150 people and you get 75 lines per week, in the EuroMillions lottery. If you win nothing in any month, then you get a full refund of your £39. The guy on the other end said something about being from the Football pools company, so I m sure it was Vernons like someone else had reported (they likely have my number from joining their casino ages back I can only assume) Since I haven t used them in years no idea why they are calling since I ve never done the Football pools EVER and have no plans to!
