Said that my Bank card had been used twice today and if it was not me gave me the stale ring 1 or ring 2 options. Have not called them back and have no intention of doing so. Fraud RANG US FROM THIS PHONE NUMBER, WHICH WE WERE NOT EXPECTING. CLEARLY MENTIONED INFORMATION WHICH WAS WRONG AND NOT CORRECT. WE WILL NOT BE ANSWERING THE PHONE TO THIS NUMBER EITHER.

Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. Reported to the ICO

SCAM Robot Dialer, with recorded piffle about being from "VISA" and trying to confirm a £300 payment to Amazon and an International Money Transfer of £1000. eventually got an Indian speaker who was qute surprised when i asked her for the Passcode. Then hung up. Tried to report to Action Fraud, but they are only interested if you have lost money, and it is by Email or to a Mobile Number.
