A man called saying he was calling on behalf of O2, saying under O2 I was eligible for a reduced business contract. When I challenged him that he was not calling from O2 he then said he was calling from a company called YourMobile.com which 'works with an O2 platinum business partner' (Plan.com). I said he should know my contract with O2 if he was phoning on behalf of any area of O2 and then he hung up. This is a scam

Suspicious of this, texted a message about going camping and then on replying that it was a wrong number, attempted to learn details about me, blocked just in case.

Woman claiming to be called 'Daisy' calling from the diesel emissions team. Asking for someone called Ray Shell. She had an Indian accent and promptly hung up when advised there is no such person as Ray Shell on this number.

Apparently nusiance. >20 calls received from this "company" Get calls from this company by different person everyday using differnet numbers. Claimed to be insurance company. Refused to provide any insurance quote by email but asking for lots of personal information. Not sure if this is a fraud.

Scammers using pre-recorded audio impersonating UK Goverment agency

Said they were calling about my health care and asked if I had taken all the flu jabs. Scam

SCAM claimed to be from Domestic and General, knew my name and address and what was insured. They said it had expired, it is continuous so I questioned it and I was passed to Supervisor who wanted me to get my debit card. I hung up. It was a call centre, both Asian accents. SCAM HANG UP

Scammer trying to gain access to my bank account

Called and left a message - wishing to discuss my domestic appliance insurance. These calls are at best unwanted Spam and at worst a Scam. Caller said would ring back - I've blocked the number - so will not get bothered again.

Cold call received mid-morning. Disrespectful, pushy and unprofessional. No contact from this local business ever before, yet rang using over-familiar approach and demanding to talk about IT and security contracts. No evidence of who they were, except their say so. IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM! A computer is dialling numbers in sequence to sniff out voice lines. If you speak then the line is detected as 'an active voice line' and logged as such, a scammer will then be calling you later! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear a voice and then the line goes dead then congratulations - you have just successfully escaped being scammed! THESE CALLS ARE HARASSING AND ALWAYS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!
