Claim to be an insurance company calling about accident you re not to blame for. No indication of asking to confirm name or of any accident date.

The company is called Fresh Start and was warned about this company calling fron 0161 numbers. They re main purpose is to obtain your bank details, under no circumstances get in to a conversation with these people. they will rob you blind.

I was called by this number at 7.30 pm but no one spoke when I answered

Called me saying had been in an accident in Glasgow. Told them haven t. Said I was a passenger! Never been in an accident and soon as a said FRAUD CASE she hung up on me. Been ringing for days!

They called up asking if I had recently been involved in a car crash. It sounded similar to that scam that makes you say yes and then uses your recording to claim that you agreed to some contract or scam your credit card or something. They said the name very quickly at the beginning of the call. They quickly said that they will take my number off of their database and then they hung up. Fairly well spoken Man claiming I had just called him from my number. Repeatedly asked me for my name when I kept telling him that I hadn’t called him he kept asking me who he was speaking to! Told him I wouldn’t give him my name as he had called me and not the other way round. He went way in the end. Not sure if it was a genuine mistake on his part but I’d certainly not called anyone snd double checked my phone, but he was determined to try and get my name.

Called from Talk Talk Tech department to say to say a there is problem with our router. He required access to our PC. We are not talk talk customers and these calls are now coming in at a rate of 4 or 5 per day
