Amazon scam. Recorded message tells me I have ordered an Apple Ipad through Amazon and to press 1 if I want to cancel so I did as I like to string them along. All I got was a repeat of the message. What a strange scam if they don't even have the opportunity to get any information!

Caller asked me also to confirm if I was receiving a high volume of telemarketing calls, and that he could help. Fealing un easy I said call me back in 5 mins after I could check him out. Found this thread immediately blocked the number on my Pro Call Blocker box i found on ebay for ?25.

They say they are calling from your life insurance company, when you ask what company they try and baffle you and not say who, stay well clear off
SCAM. Someone looking for dirt on someone. Offered cash for negative information so am guessing he is criminal, or a journalist if that is any different. Faked an American access and more likely to be Welsh probably.
I was a bit uneasy with a firm telling me that they could get me a rates reduction as there are many firms offering this service! Graham George and their rep Jason were more than helpful in the service they provided me, even when all of the paperwork was lost by the government department. They resubmitted it the next day a decision was made a week later. Claims to be BT openreach technical department. couldn't confirm account holder name. wanted me to use laptop or computer to check speeds. Told him I had done that already this morning and was quite happy with it but he was insisting I tried it on my computer or laptop. I was apparently overpaying for the speed i was getting and should be refunded.?!?!? hung up at that point, I couldn't be bothered listening anymore.
