Asian man called 17/12/2015 Thursday am, said he had had notification from ACM management about my accident. He said HE was Accident Compensation co UK. I asked all sorts of questions and managed to get an address: K&M Skips Unit 1 1B Towpath Road Stonehill Business Park LONDON N183QX Tel No 02032895922 He wanted to know who at this address has had an accident in the last 2 years so he could get me compensation. A company called PPI Checker also uses this phone number. It shows as international. I asked the company name, which they gave and they also gave me their phone number!! but when I asked for their address, they put the phone down.

Ambulance chasers. Had 12 nuisance calls today from various numbers.

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.
