Also had calls from 0161 201 0040 ( Jubilee & Wilson Accounts Dept ). Typical pattern: "We called you x-months ago & you agreed to place advertising with us in a crime prevention booklet" & when I denied the call their first line was, "But we have recorded evidence" (great business approach to customer relationships & satisfaction!). I have requested a copy of the recording several times & they agreed to send it, but it never arrived. They have sent invoice; payment reminders; continuous phone calls

Disgusted at Greenpeace, I have donated for years and every year they wanted more money. Called today. Heavy Indian accent and lots of Indian voices in the background. Said he was calling from BT Tech dept....yeah ok like I believe that. I told him he was in for a big surprise as we had traced his number and would take matters further as he had reached an internal secure line at Essex police headquarters(he hadn t) but he hung up really QUICKLY. It s about time BT stopped selling blocks of numbers to scammer scum. If they don t then we, as genuine customers, should be able to sue BT.
