Rung 3 times today - claimed be from Electric gas company twice then British Gas

I was stupid enough to try to return this call. Automated message didn t tell me who the company was and put me in a queue so I hung up.

Call purporting to be from B.T. re problem with my I.P. address being compromised. Called B.T. Tech no call to my number had been placed by them. Yet ANOTHER scammer

I got a call to say that I was on a database as I had had an accident in the last few years, this is untrue and when I corrected them, it became ' anyone in your household?...

Line was silent when I picked up phone then “clicked” off after about 3 secs; probably scammers multi calling.

Scam/Utilities call - claimed I as on a meter and they could save me money. I don t have any energy company accounts.

They phoned offering me a job but wanted me to go on 2 1 day courses for ?259 think it s a scam

They called about car accident i was in they new all my details and car they work along side buchanan and cambell soliciters glasgow unsure about this but will add once ive carried out checks they said this is a new government scheme

"Looks like a premium rate number" Sorry, but you re mistaken. 01, 02, 03 are all classed as national rate calls (apart from Channel Islands, Isle of Man) and 03xxx are business numbers. 0845 and 0870 numbers very widely being changed to 0345 and 0370 numbers so they are included in most calls packages (including from mobiles). Only 1899.com and 18185 (cheap call services when dialling using those prefixes before a number) are not including 03x

CHECKING MY BANK STATEMENT I FOUND A DEBIT OF ?99.99 FROM A FREE TIME CD. I RANG THE BANK WHO WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS FROM A PURCHASE I HAD MADE ABOUT A MONTH EARLIER. AFTER I PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND GOOGLED THE NUMBER I FOUND THIS WEBSITE. I TOO MADE A PURCHASE OF SPACE BAGS AND REMEMBER RECEIVING THE PHONE CALL AND THE HOLIDAY BROCHURE BUT CAN T RECALL ANY MENTION OF A CHARGE IF I DIDN T DECLINE THE OFFER OF THEIR SERVICES....WHAT A SCAM.
