My ee account has been billed £9 in total for two texts from this number so I asked ee to block third party charges on my account but I wont be getting my 9 quid back as I have to contact the company who billed me for that WopWappy. SCAM 01392433831 called me today approximately 11pm on my landline - I don't say anything when i answer and wait for the caller to speak first - but when I took the call it had a very noisy background like a call centre, but no discernible conversations then the caller hung up. This is a typical nuisance call - usually from overseas with heavily accented BT/O2/Vodafone/EE 'Technician' wanting to access my accounts etc. They always hangup if i don't say anything first.
Didn't take the time to get enough details.

This was a missed call, so I called it back but just got the BT message "you've dialled an incorrect number" so it appears that at today's date, the number is not actually allocated and falsely used to hide the real number - Not sure how they do this and when are BT/Openreach going to stop this happening and clean up their system - the number displayed should be the actual number being used, ok, number blocking is another matter but should only be reserved for private numbers, going to gue

I had an earlier call from an 01550 number which I answered as it is my local dialling code. It was a marketing company. I asked the man to remove my name from his records. He said he would. I have now received another call from a slightly different number (same dialling code). I didn't answer this time. Both numbers come back to the same company. Both numbers now blocked!
