These people just lie and tell you you have money due back on your rates when you don t! They sound very genuine at first but when you check with valuation office they say that it is a scam. Stay clear
a SCAM perpetrated by HMRC? Could not sort Tax code out online and was told to ring another number. Called it and after lengthy process getting into the right Q and waiting 18 minutes was told to ring 08444740101 instead. (charged £12.25 for waiting during that call!). This number is now being used by a company calling itself Ownership Release Services. Usual lies about claims for mis-selling of timeshare. This number is also used by Timeshare Solutions Release and Timeshare Release.
SCAM / SPAM Very suspicious call recieved to my mobile claiming that I had placed an order for £5000 of books and that they were ready for payment and despatch. Thankfully I didn't give them any information and when I started questioning them, they hung up.
