I cut the call and redialled the nr and when I engaged with the operator stating I wasn't pleased with bing subject to legal action the operator put the phone down on me. SCAM I'm a Spanish resident living in Spain. I got several calls from this and another related number. A woman with Asian accent speaking not very good English claiming to be calling from Microsoft (first in California, then in the UK) told me there was a security issue in my computer and I needed to turn it on to follow her instructions. She passed the phone to a native English speaker when I said I couldn't understand. None of them sounded very professional at all and, in fact, the man insulted me.
SCAM Ignored call. It went to voicemail and an automated voice left a message saying that there had been some suspicious activity on my Amazon account to the amount of £1,400+ and that my account would be locked and I should press 1 or 2 to sort this out. Obviously I didn't. I've checked my account due to receiving the same message from a mobile number a couple of days before and it's fine.
