Opus staff continue to harass me for a balance allegedly owed to NPower. (NPower wrote to me, confirming that their bills using estimated meter readings were inaccurate, & that I owed NOTHING> However, Opus continue to phone me & did so again today. I intend to take legal action against Opus & NPower for the distress that their continued harassment has caused me for more than a year.

Actually sounded very plausible. Knew my name and address. Said that my washing machine cover had run out. Couldn't remember when I bought it but didn't think that it was over a year and thought I had 5 year manu's warranty (checked afterwards & correct on both counts). Company was APS or something. They would not give any information out over the matter or even give me my own door number or year of birth - my check to see if it is a cold call. Just rang twice, there is a pause then a recorded message tells me I can consolidate my debts! No real person.

Wanted to give me a discount as I was a loyal customer. Then tried to get my bank details and debit card number to check that I was the correct customer. When I put the phone down a supervisor called me back and asked the same questions, when I said that they should know I didn t pay my bills by debit card and that I thought the call was a scam he cut the call.
