Unknown number & I don’t answer unknown numbers, nor do I answer from numbers not in my contacts… Can find no information on this number so will have assume a call centre/telemarketing based in Manchester, I don’t know anybody in Manchester either….

22 Nov 2021 - Called claiming they were from Carphone Warehouse. Asked to speak to their manager and they said they were busy in a meeting and would remove me from their database. Definitely spam avoid at all costs. Reply

called me twice today once in the afternoon and again in the evening. I answered on both occasions and the line went dead

This is a line AVIVA uses for enquiries. What a con!

Said they were from The Tech Co, tried to gain access to my PC saying they needed to fix errors. When challenged the caller was aggressive.

Friendly woman rang claiming to have talked to me before about solar panels, asked if I had any. Man rang next day offering some energy saving device. Rang back and accused me of being rude when I hung up on him.

getting calls from this number at least 10 times a day - seems to be a computer that calls you. I have tried pressing option to speak to a human who say they can t remove you. I have also pressed option 9 to be removed, doesn t seem to work. This number I think is for different companies, as each time the recorded message is different - cold calling

First they called tried to confirm that the were speaking to the person they were calling for. Annoyingly they would read back my address. Then they would ask if they could do a short survey. another time they have an Indian accent and sometimes they have an English accent. Sometimes Indian man. The English accent one wanted to know if there was central heating in the house. she went straight into the question despite me telling her she had the wrong name and number. Lied about being informed of my recent accident. TPS registered so they are acting illegally.

Just had a call from this number claiming to be from my mobile provider. Very aggressive manner, extremely pushy, didn t ask if I had time to speak to them. Wanted to know how many mobile phones were used in my home: tempted to say 126 to annoy him, but quite frankly its none of his business. I am the contract holder and he should have my account information o hand if he is actually working for EE or Orange!!! If these calls don t stop I shall change provider!

Almost certainly an auto dialler. It s the third number reported on here today that starts 020 8073.

This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.

called me to discuss my First Utility tariff which is coming to an end. I asked to be called back as it was a bad time. To cut a medium story short the caller muttered something about calling me back, he failed to end the call / mute his mic as he told me to f*ck off. My complaint is currently in the pipeline and someone will hopefully be unemployed next week.
