Have been getting repeated calls on my mobile from this company but I have not been answering. After a TV program yesterday I may do what someone else did. When any company such as this calls you, interrupt and say I need to inform you that I am happy to take this phone call, but I am letting you know that I will be keeping a log of this phone call and the length of this phone call, and I will be invoicing your company per minute for my time. Keep getting calls every day off this and other numbers, when I put it into Google, it comes up with vanquis debt collection, I pay my minimum payment and more every month and have no idea why there calling from debt collection, if they shut down in the next two years I would be pleased as I didn t know the hassle I would get by joining with them! What a nightmare

Number being used by firm or individual to make automated scam calls with recorded announcement thanking you for your custom and that as they have miraculously detected illegal activity/virus infection your broadband will be blocked in one hour unless you call the number given (and presumably give them all your details so they can steal your identity and empty your bank account). Just received a call telling me I haven't activated my free calls. They knew my postcode, name and that I'm the bill payer. Said they're going to send information...

Said he was calling from my household insurance company, which was a lie because I am with Domestic and General. He kept trying to say it was an adjustment to my payment method. When I let on I was with Domestic & General he rudely hung up without another word. I am registered with TPS so this is a real nuisance to keep getting calls like this.
