Assuming it was O2 trying to sell me a new telephone contract, like the previous people reported, then it s quite shocking to think I would have had to pay O2 for the dubious privilege of receiving an unsolicited telephone call from them offering to sell me something. :-(

I got a call from this number today and it s *DEFINITELY* a scam that s cynically intended to mess up your PC and then charge you on your credit card to fix a problem which didn t exist in the first place. As it was about her car, I pushed him - said he was from Go Legal, which, as far as I can tell, was a valid solicitors that was wound up in 2014. When pushed further he said he'd call back later. Not sure what is going on here, but I got a new sim card today and it was not activated. After installing it into my phone I received an email at 15.46 this afternoon telling me my sim was activated. When I logged into my account online after activation, it showed on my account that I had sent a SMS to this number 07537 452525 at 14.57 today. This was impossible as the sim was not even activated at 14.57 and I definitely did not send any SMS to anyone. I called my Mobile Provider and they are investigating.
