SCAM: A man claiming to from Medical Alert company, offering to sell me a personal alert alarm. A neighbour received the same call, and was taken in, passed on to another person and gave bank card numbers (He has now alerted his bank). I missed a no caller ID call from Dundee city council, the person gave me this number to call back on. I'm immediately greeted by an American automated voice giving me options to which I decide to hold for assistance cuz none of them mean anything to me. SCAM Think it’s a scam, as person got annoyed when I asked him to repeat the company name, because I didn’t hear him properly. Spoke very quickly, as if to stop me interrupting. I asked him the company name again. It was something electric and he then asked if I had double glazing, when I said it was none of his business he ended the call.

It was someone claiming to be my daughter saying she had lost her phone and to ring her back on the above number. Daughter was with me at the time she definitely hadn't lost her phone. So in my opinion it was a scam.
