First time I ve had this call and with a specific telephone number. She did give a company name but I couldn t get it. wouldn t say what it concerned just kept insisting on information regarding my number and my address. Said nothing was being sold but if it was just a survey the attitude was terrible!

had a call pre-recorded call from this number claiming someone was trying to carry out a transaction for £900 from my Visa Debit Card (not specific about which one) and asking to confirm if it was me. Seems dodgy.
SCAM. Says it is from Google (but has goo.gle in the message). Clearly another scam trying to get your bank data and from the same epicente (Manchester area) where hundreds of scams are comming from. The telephone companies need holding to account for all this scamming.

It is one digit different from 01226666737, Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd calling with a driveway scam that has been pestering my home number recently and may be the same. The call was automated Glaswegian female voice saying "You have been contacted by (inaudible name), please call back immediately on 01413536463" the line went dead immediately. I decided to research number online as we do not have our number published in phone books. Various comments on forums suggest they are a debt collection agency called Zinc. We owe no debts and have great credit rating, so this call seems very strange! I won t be calling back either!
