SCAM Someone passing themselves off as Business Energy Direct. It certainly isn’t them, they are based in Rotherham which is an 01709 number and none of their staff are Asian so don’t have Asian accents.

Seems to be phishing scam; automated voice advised of financial fraud, but not from banking company.
SCAM I was out when this number called. They did not leave a message on my answer phone but the number was recorded on my incoming call information system. Using a recall system it was found the number had become non-existent and was therefore no longer traceable. This would indicate that it is from a SCAM telephone number/company. Fraud. Called saying they were from BT broadband, had my address but I am not with BT so I Knew it was a scam call.
Insurance - they are insurance brokers. Can't remember their name. I was their customer 2 years ago but then found out from another broker (when I switched life policy) what they promised me will never going to happen, like having life policy till age of 80 etc., so seems they are set on selling only, not advising correctly. A bit pushy to just review your circumstances, to keep you on the line. Said politely to the lady I'm not interested in doing a review, that I'm working and not having time for this
I had a call to say my gas meter engineer was in an accident and had to rearrange for next week. Strangely I had a call from the engineer 15 minutes later to say he was on his way and knew nothing of an accident. I can't help but feel suspicious .

Fraud - Indian claiming to be from card company
Fraud - I was called off one number trying to get a security code that would reset my O2 account. when I refused to give the one time code to the lady she got aggressive. I said I would check with O2 customer service and if everything was ok would take up the offer. I was given this number as O2 customer services - IT IS NOT. I reported to O2 (202) and they confirmed that this was Fraud, and if I gave them the code they would have had access to my O2 account.
