This number calls several times a day, but hangs up prior to being able to answer. When you try to call back, you have an Asian female who just giggles and will not state which company she is calling from. Just another scam / harassment call - this is what I thought the telephone preference scheme was supposed to be stopping !!!

Informed me that they could help with my recent RTA. When I said that I haven t had an accident, they said that I must have, cos I had been searching for motor insurance. I explained that I was comparing prices because my motor insurance was due for renewal, they insisted that I had had an accident, and they could help. I had to terminate the call. Who are these people? More to the point, how did they get my mobile number?

We hung up first time then my wife answered and said thank you for your concern and how kind he was for notifying her there was a problem she would take the computer into the shop. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced.
