Same area code but different last 4 digits. Was told not to answer as it can cost. Fed up of these type of calls.

SCAM saying HMRC have a tax fraud case against you. Very loud threatening automated message telling you you will be arrested soon if you don't press 1 to call them. Mobile number locator shows as being near industrial site off Mitton Road, Whalley near Blackburn. The intent is to scare vulnerable/older people into making contact, so as to gain access to their PC via remote access. HMRC are aware of this type of scam but I informed them anyway.
This number should be a landline from London.I haven't found any rating for this number somewhere else, just presented on lists on individual pages, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one?

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438727xxx range... People did someone answer this number?
