SCAM Must be a scam this number randomly called me today. Automated voice saying it was HM revenue & customs claiming that there was a fraud case in my name that I needed to press 1 to speak to the officer on the case. That if I didn't sort it then I'd be arrested shortly. Load of bollacks if you ask me didn't bother pressing 1 & hung up straight away soon as the automated voice got out what it was obviously programmed to say. Probably would have tried to get some sort of financial detail
Disgusting customer service! I have a 2012 vw up and I ve just been insulted with the offer of 500 pounds! They re reason being because there is damage on the back panels, which they already knew about and had already offered me 2100 over the phone. Absolute waste of time all around. Fraud - Number is definitely NOT from the Russian Federation - It is a UK based mobile number running on the EE network. When answered, a very bad automated message advising that there has been fraud on your National Insurance Number. All assets will be suspended and you will be arrested! Silent call - have been receiving one per day for the last week - different number each time but similar codes and when try calling back are non recognised numbers. Have logged a complaint with OFCOM and given them a list of the numbers. will be adding to the complaint from now on. Enough is enough!
