This probably isn't safe - the caller didn't even know or ask for my name, simply saying 'it's about breakdown insurance'. Laughable.
Said it was my bank and that western union transfer had been taken from my account of £600 and that they were my bank press1 to talk to them to discuss the matter. This company rings repeatedly, with recorded message. When you get through to an advisor, they word their pitch carefully to give the impression that they work for a government department. They refuse to give their address and the phone they give does not ring. Obviously bunch of con men.

I explained to her not to ring me if she dosnt know who shes talking to, and she even had the gaul to try to make me answer security questions first,haha. I politely told her not to ring me again and told her to P-Off but i did explain what the initial P stood for. She did then say she would remove my number from her list. hopefully

Are based in Scotland with no known office in 01305 exchange area. Have calls from Scotland re-routed through local exchange numbers in order to persuade people to answer a local number. If you call it back, then the call is again re-routed back to their Scotland office. Not sure if this is an illegal practice under telephony legislation, but would be interested if anyone can come up with the legislation about having calls re-routed to give the answering CLI the impression that the call is local.
