This was a recorded message from a number purporting to be a bank (which bank not specified) and telling me that 2 dodgy transactions had just been recorded. One payment to Amazon, and one international payment via an unspecified website. Obviously crap, but a potential cause of anxiety nonetheless.
Fraud. callersaid he wS from HAART Estate agent and my property had been on market to sell !! Not True! Have owned my property for x17 years and NEVER PUT IT IN MARKET TO SELL!! HE THEN SAID OH THIS IS WHY IM CALLING YOU AS I wanted to know if you'd like to sell it!!! Many have been missed calls and the rest I let ring out. I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Whoever they are, they have the ability to have or create many numbers. They get blocked and move onto another number and call back.
They won't be calling again. Block these scammers. Disgusting behaviour. Usual pause before they hear you, then sound polite and smiley but immediately then try to impose and intimidate with their fake sales spiel patter. Utter Bull, Do not bother answering.
