Found this on my missed calls list today, when I attempted to ring it a "This number is not recognised" message was given. Very strange.

cold call, answer but no one spoke. call centre sounds in background

these people are leeches..i think its terrible that they get the nod that there is a possible injury claim ect...

No idea what, thought it was for boiler maintenance even though she already has this service with a legitimate company. gave card details but by time she cancelled her card at bank £199.99 had been debited. Bank has said the name of company taking the money was called smart service.

They keep calling me, in the states. I thought it might be business or a friend, but just a gent with an Indian accent starting a pitch. I think the "block" feature on my android should be on all phones, then these fellows will have to work for a living. Nice story, the one above "Manchester".

Called but hung up as soon as I answered

I believe it is someone who called the wrong number. I got a caller on my mobile. I have my number for more than 10 years. I think she misdialled from her phone. She asked for Gemma. I just said there is no Gemma and she got the wrong number. I can't say if this is a trick or not.

Lady with an accent, slightly Irish?, called asking to speak to Mr. Harrison. When I asked which Mr. Harrison, I have two sons, she said Linda. I advised that she had asked to speak to Mr and now wanted to speak to a lady and she got shirty and tried to be assertive. I asked who was calling and she put her hand over the phone and gave only a surname, Williams. I asked her to repeat the whole name and she hung up. Yes, we are TPS as well. Why can t this lot do something?

PPI. They said it was called HELP YOUR CLAIM. I asked to speak to the manager and told them that my phone was registered to not receive cold calls, and asked them where they got my number from. This number called twice. Thanks to all on this site - I ignored both calls. As a personal policy, I don t answer calls on my mobile, cos I only give it out to family.....and in any case I only use it for texting.
