SCAMI had a phone call from 0800 4643050 saying they were from Nationwide, using my name, calling me about potential fraudulent activity on an account. They were very good, very believable, and spend about 30min going through possible fraudulent transactions before asking me for any personal information. When they did I said I wanted to ring through independently to ensure it wasn't a scam. They said I could google the number and see it was a genuine number. I do not know who they are. All I know is that it is from the centre of Chichester. They do not even leave a text so that I would at least know who is attempting to get hold of me!!! It may be quite innocent, but until I know who is calling as unknown, it is a nuisance. Why should we have to put up with this rubbish, the caller would not like it if this happened to them. I will not call them back incase it is a scam.
