A scam call regarding a non existing Amazon account...just hang up straight away

When you answer your phone and if it s a number you don t recognise, DON T SPEAK JUST LISTEN! Wait for the caller to speak first and then decide whether to simply put the phone down. If it s a recorded message, it ll nearly always be a scam or a computer dialling a batch of numbers in sequence and trying to assertain if the number they have just dialled is a voice line. i.e. a private phone number. Returned call - automated message "thank you for calling..." hung up!

I got a missed call from this number - when I called back just got rock/ pop music and no answer.

Called 5 times in the last week - I said that to him and he said they don t call off lists and it was the first time they d attempted to call. He was polite enough but just wouldn t take my word for it. Each time i ve put the phone down after asking them to remove my details but not happened yet. Each time I block the number I just get another call from another DDI.

Pre-recorded message re banking PPI, dial 5 to contact, 9 to avoid more calls from this number, but the 9 does not work as received more calls two and three days later. Absolute pain. Registered with TPS already so how do they obtain my details?

I received 2 calls from this number on my mobile, when I answered the caller just hung up the phone. Number blocked right now! Spam!

Caller "Niall" stated they had observed large amount of nuisance calls on my line, then tried to sell me a service for £60 upfront cost and £1.80 p/m to stop the calls. Tried to obtain my bank details at which point I hung up. Do Not Trust these dirtbags!!!

Multiple calls, no message left. I'm assuming if it's that important the caller could at least identify themselves with some sort of message!

For about the 20th time. I m on tps as well and good ole Julie has promised to remove my number so many times. This company lies (I ve not been in any car accident and you know it!) and they treat removal requests with contempt.

Money scam. They pose as a photography company (Imagethirst), offering free photo shoots, asking for a deposit first(usually ?40-?50). They have been known to tell you that you are a prize winner for other things also, and pose as other companies.
