When answering the call, a pre-recorded male voice told me that my NI number would be under investigation, because several fraudulent activities had been registered. It then urged me to press 1 for further information. I terminated the call immediately. However, this does not seem a legitimate phone number from which such a call would be made. Therefore, I am classing this as scam/fraud.

I had a marketing call from this number trying to sell me a new boiler. When I asked for their website the lady who introduced herself as Grace hung up.
This is Smith Glass in Basildon, they constantly call me trying to sell Double Glazing, even though on numerous times I f have them I am not interested and need to remove me from their database. Last time I spoke to them the chav on the end of the marketing line was aggressive.

Received a phone call from this number today citing consumer services and something about a refund due to an overpayment on a loan taken out within the last 12 years ( I haven t). I asked him for details on this loan and he questioned me back asking well haven t you? . I retorted back well you tell me since you re the one here calling me. He hung up. It sounded similar to that scam that makes you say yes and then uses your recording to claim that you agreed to some contract or scam your credit card or something. They said the name very quickly at the beginning of the call. They quickly said that they will take my number off of their database and then they hung up. I just tried calling the number back and it didn t register. 100% scam, but not sure how or why. Even the person ca
