Guy called up asking to speak to the purchasing manager about ink cartridges for the printer. Told him we are not interested and put the phone down
Hung up as soon as I answered the call.
Automated message saying my Internet will be disconnected in 4 hours due to a problem with the router. Press 1 to speak to connect to my Internet provider. Didn t even name my Internet provider. I just ended the call.
SCAM I was called from a lady called Lisa. She sounded Indian. Anyway I am lucky because I have been allocated a free discount card. Free, up to 40% off shopping, Tesco etc. Also they will send me free flight tickets for me and my family, anywhere in Europe. Didn't want my bank account no. just my sort code and account number. So they could credit me £1. I put the phone down. I wonder if I will get my free discount card in the post as promised.

I didn t take the strange call, and on finding out on here who these jokers are I very well might take their next call to make them totally aware they re pissing up the wrong tree. Very poor line. A caller with a strong Indian accent claimed to be calling from BT claiming that somebody had been using my internet connection without my permission. I have had various calls of this nature from other numbers recently, one of them asking for remote access to my computer. They hung up when I told them that I had recently checked the hub admin screen and had seen no evidence of misuse.
