Was called by someone - with a poor command of English - who said their name was John and after 3 attempts I was able to understand he was phoning on behalf of Currys PC World. When I asked where he had got my mobile phone no. from he got abusive and told me to "fuck off" and then hung up. If this is indeed a legit call from Currys PC World then it says a lot about their customer care!

It appears to be cold calling fund raising drive linked with University of Birmingham (I am an alumnus). got a call from a young guy saying that in 2009 im owed money from either MBNA, Barclay or Capital One credit card, which is utter bullshit, then when I told him that I didnt even have a credit card in 2009 nevermind by any of those companies the scally knob said "whateva dont get your £2 grand then" and put the phone down.
