Called me and implied that they were operating on behalf of my estate agent and this was the 'next step' in the purchase of my new property. Tried to get my address details claiming that it was all part of 'data protection' - when I said 'heck no - I'm not giving you any details' then they doubled down on the the claim that they were operating on behalf of my estate. Very upsetting.

Scam caller, wants you to call them back.

Spencer from The Energy Support Hub on 02922 229968 called me today. A sales scam as far as I am concerned. Carefully worded opening sales pitch offers Home Owners with a Gas boiler over 7 years old or more a replacement boiler at no additional cost to them, or some such spiel. What the Sales team deliberately fail to mention in the opening spiel is that the cost of the boiler is met through the up to 50% saving on the Home Owners annual gas bill. This only becomes clear some way into the call.

I asked who they represent and she said they work with a number of companies. I asked what her organisation was and she told me she'd get a manager to ring back in the next half hour. Said they were from Microsoft about my computer. Microsoft dont do calls like this and this isn't their number. Got annoyed when I said they weren't from Microsoft. Definite scam attempt

Scam and/or phishing attempt. It attempted to get me to message the phone number via WhatsApp. The person had sent an SMS from another number (07566706069) claiming to have dropped their phone down the toilet and that they’d instantly acquired a new phone. They asked me to message specifically via WhatsApp (???). This is the fourth message I’ve had this week, from a variety of unknowns, being asked to message a new number by someone claiming to have lost/damaged their phone.
