Twice when I picked up the phone the line went dead. The third time, a lady said something which included the words "Tax refund" but, despite asking her to repeat herself several times, I could not make out anything else she said as she had a very strong foreign accent. So I blocked the number.

we were called in Cape Town from this number inquiring about stopping a supposed unauthorised credit card payment. This appears to be a scam.

This guy called me and he said he was a member of the association AML "anti money laundering" in UK and international also. He pretended he could recover money from crypto websites. (I don't know what is crypto). He knows English, french and dutch. He has strong (false) argument to tell you. When I ask him to call the association AML to be identified, he turns around the circle. Said he'd send 2 text messages for me to activate the discount!!!!! Why if he was from O2, and I was with O2 he'd have my details and could active the discount automatically. Block this number.

It was an automated message saying that my visa card was being used to get £900 from my account. I believe this call to be a scam, beware.
Be careful dealing with this number. He is acting as a professional and showing a lot of fake proof for you to believe and get your trust. He is very dangerous in person. I'm giving a serious warning to all the girls especially here in UK meeting him. I hope with this, nobody will be his next victim and suffer the same faith with me.
