A dangerous fraud / scam call pretending to be from the UK HMRC. Automated American woman's voice telling me legal proceedings are underway against me and I need to press 1 to speak to an officer. For many reasons, that's not how HMRC would operate.

SCAM text message which reads ‘Hi mum, I smashed my phone. I’m texting from a friends phone but it’s going to die. Can you message me on my new number its 07554890734 x’. Clearly a scam as my son actually knows how to punctuate a sentence and always send two kisses. Dumb criminals.

I think this is a scam. Message said I had made an unusual transaction on card, £300 Amazon and £1000 international money transfer. Call did not identify a specific card, so I am assuming this to be a scam. Interesting that it is a Bristol number identifiable to a location.

Text message received from Sants fraud asking me if I had made a pmt of 33458.64 to a Ali Afza? if not to call fraud on the number and not to reply by text. Luckily I worked for Santander so knew it was a scam but it is very convincing.

It’s from Russia and i suspect it’s a scam site but still anything from Russia I wouldn’t class as safe.

This number & variants of it have called me 7 times over the last 2 days absolutely fed up if it, seems these scammers don’t give up just working out how to block all the numbers

Fraud. Asian male called about my BT internet connection. I said “keep going, I am recording the this call for security purposes”. He said “F*ck you” and hung up.

Recieved a call from this number sounded like a call centre, I am in Australia, knew my name would not tell me how she was and were she was from, wanted me to confirm my name I just not me when she asked if I was XXXX, then she hung up.

Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft saying that they've detected a problem with my computer and asked if I can switch on my computer. I refused and challenged them; caller eventually put me onto their "supervisor" and he asked me if I understood the nature of this call from Microsoft today but I told him that I didn't believe he was and he said "OK then f**k off" and I replied "Likewise" and hung up. SCAM phone number on false Norton antivirus invoice saying they will collect money from your account - if you phone they insist on connecting to your computer. Keep away, this is a fraud scam.

Fraud. Claims to be PayPal but answered by Indian call center. Asked them what my paypal email address was and they hung up. Kept calling them and asking if they knew that what they were doing was fraud/illegal.

SCAM Pretending to be from vodafone. Maria, very popular Indian name, calling from berkshire, although it shows Edinburgh. Told her so shape up & stop ripping ppl off, ended call.

Very rude. Very bad. Wouldn’t tell me who was calling. Just wanted me to confirm my name with a yes or no. When I would not say yes or no and just kept asking who was calling, she said well you can piss off! and put the phone down on me. Don’t ever say yes or no on the phone - they record it and use it as approval for trying to get into accounts etc.
