Recorded message saying a criminal case had been filed against for me for tax fraud and tax evasion, told me to press 1 before they start legal action.
Answered this random call to my mobile, automated message saying that a charge had been made against my name from the inland revenue. Ridiculous, I called back to challenge them. A foreign man answered saying HMRC can I help you? I asked why they called me, he asked if he could have my name. I said no. He said You had better get ready to be arrested, Ms ....... (using my name, which I hadn t given), then hung up. Vile scum.

SCAM Call center Purported to be from British Gas. I had difficulty understanding what he was trying to tell me because of a strong accent, but he was suggesting a problem with my boiler thermostat? Then went on to talk about a maintenance contract to cover the boiler, radiators and electrical supply. I queried several times about his genuine employment by British Gas and he finally hung up the phone.
Four more calls for this number with only noise in the background when checking answer phone. A pain in the rear!!

Fairly well spoken Man claiming I had just called him from my number. Repeatedly asked me for my name when I kept telling him that I hadn’t called him he kept asking me who he was speaking to! Told him I wouldn’t give him my name as he had called me and not the other way round. He went way in the end. Not sure if it was a genuine mistake on his part but I’d certainly not called anyone snd double checked my phone, but he was determined to try and get my name.

I asked who they represent and she said they work with a number of companies. I asked what her organisation was and she told me she'd get a manager to ring back in the next half hour. Told him not to call my number again he replied I will call this number every day of your life told him I would make a complaint he replied I will call you tomorrow at 6pm told him not to call ever again as it s cold calling., he replied it s not cold calling I am warm He was aggressive and said I was stupid. Some pension scam "You are owed ?1,000 due to pension bla bla bla" utter crap -- just trying to con money out of people. If it was genuine they would have my address and have sent me a letter. Another number in my call blocker ---- best gadget I ever bought --- there is nothing like the satisfaction I get in putting people numbers in this - they only ring once and never again!

Called me but when I answered the phone it was a recorded message. The message said something about 'if you do not wish to have calls, then call (so so and so so)'.
Poor chap has had his number sold to insurance scammers (or cloned by them). They will call you to scam you, but when you call back, a normal guy who has unfortunately been tied up in this will answer.
