Fraud, it was an automated message claiming to be HMRC saying theres a fraud case against me. Then it asked me to press 1 to listen to information regarding the case. I hung up and blocked the number.

Answered the phone and the call was terminated. With TPS, so shouldn t receive such calls. Did a search on the number and found other aggrieved parties.

Today called and said he s calling from technical service of virgin media. First told me they receive a lot of error reports sent from my router which they want to fix and then asked me to go to teamwiever.com (remote control software page) which I refused.

came on with a strong Irish accent from PayPal I have a mobile phone blocker chump with spam blocked it.

I got a text supposedly from PayPal saying suspicious activity on my account and asking me to check via a link that they provided. I checked my account via a different method and found nothing wrong. This nimber appears to be used by SCAMMERS.

He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. I said im sorry this doesn t sound right to me...he got very irritated and told me to check the number it is a recognized BT number at a registered address. Claimed to be from Postcode lottery saying I’d won a discount card for supermarkets and that I’d also won a free flight to anywhere in the world. Passed call to her senior who wanted to “activate” the discount credit card and said needed to deposit £1.00 into my account to activate the account.
