This was a scam call claiming to be from a restaurant I visited recently through OpenTable, they got my card info before phoning back on a private number claiming to be from Santander.

Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). The caller with a strong foreign accent (possibly Indian) stated he was calling from BT Openreach about potential problem with my internet connection. So I thanked him for calling and hung up, as it sounded like it might be an all too frequent scam call.

They said they were calling from HMRC, however HMRC never calls mobile numbers. Recorded message claiming that my order from Amazon had been processed and that several hundred pounds had been charged to my card. Also claimed that if I had not made the order to press 1 to speak to customer services. Obviousl a scam so I hung up. DO NOT PRESS 1.
