Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! Tried to convince me that they were from Sky and that my Internet speed wasn't appropriate. Then told me to download and app which gives them remote access to me phone. When I refused they told me I needed to pay them for the service they have just given me. Nice try!

The phone is a scam, when dile back you are informed that you have incorrect number.

Scam Indian call centre, says internet is broken and tries to get you to download a remote access computer program so they can take over your computer and then claim a ransom from you. Suggest you keep them hanging on the line as long as possible but don't download anything or give them your details. Just string them along and frustrate them. Then give them a mouthful of verbal abuse when you are ready to hang up. Number was +44 (0) 7444496409.

Pretending to be from Amazon and saying that I had a £900 transaction taken from my Amazon account and wanted me to follow their instructions and put a code in my phone I told him to call me back in 10 minutes as my daughter would be speak to him and she works with the police he hung up. I did know it was a scam that’s why I said it. I just feel sorry for the people that they do trap as they are scum. If you don’t No them hang up. And don’t give them any of your details.
