Have received a string of calls all from Manchester claiming I WILL be involved in a car accident - not have been!! These numbers are all the same harassing low life's: 0161 8140223, 0161 8141275, 0161 8141475, 0161 8142852, 0161 8143213, 0161 8143845, 0161 8145421, 0161 8145422, 0161 8146942, 0161 8149338. A total of twelve calls in two days.

SCAM Woman called saying "I have been informed that you have been involved in a car accident". I said no I haven't, then heard my voice played back to me - whoever this scammer is records your voice - maybe they are trying to collect re bank voice recognition security? Don't answer calls from this number.

Professing to be from BT and said I had instability in my router. To,d me I needed to be in front of my computer. When I said they were not who they said they were and I was reporting this call they hung up immediately. Be warned!

I played back the voice mail and got John Cleese saying I have said I'm interested in ppi. I thought no way have I ever been in contact about ppi I'm fed up with getting these calls on mobile or landline

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 16181423xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with pensions, PPI, claims marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Guys did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
