I had the same text from the number mentioned, preceeded by a text from Natwest saying there was potentially fraudulent activity on my account - I ignored it, and then my phone rang and a recorded message claiming to be NatWest told me to call the number calling me (08453560020)...I decided to ignore this too. I ve had three missed calls from this number in as many weeks, I finally answered in time and it was someone from a local Honda garage (wirral based) asking about a car I had serviced with them recently, told them I d since sold it and they said they would update their records. Looks like tele-marketing as I m sure the next question would have been if I was interested in purchasing a new one instead.....

Scam!! I had a call from this number where an automated voice told me that there was legal action being taken against my name for fraud and that a warrant was out for my arrest. It said to press one to hear more of the details but I looked the number up first. When I rang the number back, it was an automated voicemail entirely in Spanish (the original message was in English). Looks like a massive scam to me. This one could be dangerous to vulnerable people. Beware.

Telemarketers, usual nonsense, I suggest you just cut the call if answered by mistake, block them on the mobile or landline handset if you are able, if you do talk to them then of course ask for your details to be removed etc... Do not behave like the quarter wit above, screaming and shouting at them, it just makes you look like a complete and utter fool and an idiot and in truth there is no reason to behave in such a way, it acheives nothing in terms of getting you out of their database.
