Obviously power dialling as my telephone provider uses UK call centres. As to motive? don't know but should not be cold calling my number

Despite registration with the TPS, I had two cold calls about an alleged car accident in which I was involved but I do not own a car and certainly was not involved in an accident on the date claimed. The caller claimed to be from a company called Solicitors Law Firm and to have got details of my alleged accident from the UK National Traffic Department but as far as I can ascertain neither organisation exists. They witheld their phone number but claimed to be calling from 01527 821239.

I have had over 40 calls from these people on their new number 0161 939 7225. These scammers are trying to get you to claim PPI and will not take no for an answer. They called my mobile a month ago and I strung this chap along for over 8 minutes since it was a landline to mobile call, thinking that they would pay a lot for the this scam call. They phoned me to say they were Microsoft Specials. Told me my PC had a fault - possibly Virus Infected - and first tried to access my PC via Teamviewer. SPAM Rung numerous times a day over several days - each time from this number and similar - Energy green company - each time no thanks remove me from your list, they're supposed to do that if you ask them to. Not this company they keep ringing day in day out 5/6 daily from this number or similar, it's harassment, I keep blocking their numbers eventually I'm sure I'll get them all blocked.
