Recently lost a family member. This makes me fume at the best of times, but surely in times when we’re sending probes to Mars this act can be blocked from occurring anymore

Who are these people?
As with the comments above I received two calls from HMRC saying they were filing a lawsuit against me. I was told to press 1 to speak to a case officer who had a strong Indian accent, asked me to spell my name and confirm my address (which I didnt and put the phone down).
Scam/Fraud Recorded message stating that I had an arrest warrant against me for tax fraud - it then gives you an option to press '1' for something (by which time I'd hung up)... Obvious scam by whatever criminals are operating here.

Yet another number I am getting daily calls from regarding an accident that I never had!! When is something going to be done about these people??

I didn t catch the name of the company, but they will request your participation in a "short survey which will take only two minutes of your time". Beware - any answers you give will present them with an opportunity to target you with nuisance calls starting shortly after you end their call.
