Received a call offering a free tablet, declined as I did not believe they were calling from Vodafone themselves, and hung up. Then received a seemingly automated text message from Vodafone advising the call was genuine, but the grammar in the text was poor - "infact", "you wasn t sure", "removed you from our list of customer" - so I can t be sure if it is genuine. Surely a big company like that would check something so simple?
SCAM. Caller claimed to be something to do with National Insurance and said my NI No had been compromised and to press 1 to speak to an officer. Well known scam

This caller professed to be from Microsoft Technical Support! He was extremely rude and shouted when I asked for his telephone number. From your Google picture it looks like a scam is being operated from a private residence.
