ust received a call from an unknown number spoke to someone called Liam from fresh contacts, he said he was calling about an accident I had within the last 3 years, apparently a car had run into the back of me but I hadn t claimed any compensation for injuries to myself. I did have an accident where someone ran into the the back of my car on a roundabout but this was about 6/7 years ago and it was all sorted when it happened. Random cold calling accident claim company, name of the company wasn t clear, something like Accident Advice Company. Claimed to have got number from the road traffic accident organisation which keeps records of accidents from the last 3 years, which is clever as I haven t had an accident in 10 years. That s when they decided to end the call. Do the same as me, take the call and string them along for a while so they aren t bothering someone else.

I received one of these calls on my answer machine and phoned them back when I had checked google out. It does sound like a genuine Nat West survey and although I do not have an account with them some of my family do. I carried on to the first question and it wanted to know how long I was queuing on my last visit to Nat West. I then hung up as I don t know the answer. I believe this is probably because either my son or daughter has visited a branch recently.
